Co-ordinator
Summary
The Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting the supervisors to carry out daily airlines tasks as specified by customers’ requirements, ensuring on-time delivery and minimum complains.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the assembly/setting of First Class, Business Class and Crew meals and ensuring the correct loading arrangement is adhered to
- Guide and coordinate the activities of tray set up to:
- Ensure adherence to Airline Specifications for the meals being assembled
- Ensure that completed trolleys, ovens or containers of meals and uplift items are properly labelled and identified
- Ensure that AFSS for flight meals are always updated
- Ensure that First-in First-out (FIFO) systems are closely followed when tray-setting items are being used
- Coordinate to ensure all last minute/ad-hoc meals are attended expeditiously
- Ensure the balance of food products and equipment are returned to their respective areas
- Ensure that stand-by meals assembled in trolleys are cleared daily as soon as the flight has departed
- Conduct stock level checks in MUA before placing daily or weekly orders for operational use
- Provide monthly or weekly inventory list to DBS
- Ensure personal hygiene, general hygiene, and proper housekeeping at all times
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
Requirements
- Minimum N or O level / ITE
- Physically fit to carry heavy load
