Equipment Operator
Summary
The Equipment Operator, is responsible for operating all equipment and vehicles safely and within classes permitted.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate safely and efficiently of all equipment and vehicles within classes permitted
- Perform daily ground support equipment checks
- Report immediately of all damages of equipment and vehicle immediately to the superiors
- Perform manual marshalling at aircraft bays
- Operate Aircraft Docking Guidance System (ADGS)
- Insert and remove of aircraft wheel chocks based on airlines’ requirement
- Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are cleaned
- Report all Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to flight in charge (FIC)
- Refuel ground support equipment
- Perform general loading and unloading operations
- Perform duty on docking and withdrawing PLB (Passenger Loading Bridge)
- Read and interpret CPM & LIR
- Act as mentor to new recruits in the organization
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education and above
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
- Able to obtain Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) after attended Aircraft Rules & Regulations Course (ARRC) conducted by internal instructor and Airfield Rules Test (ART) by CAG
