Equipment Operator
Summary
The Equipment Operator I/II is responsible for driving different type vehicles, depending on the job nature and assist the FIC to provide top-class service to your customers, which is not limited to uplifting of meal services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check, collect and assemble dry stores, flight equipment, foodstuff and supplementary stores into the delivery vehicle used in the servicing of the flight.
- Prepare and load dry ice in loading devices containing foodstuff.
- Drive and operate high lift or vehicles in the servicing of flights or task assigned.
- Execute the Catering exchange or uplift according to the requirement of the Airline’s galley Loading Plan/AFSS.
- Handover meals and dry bonded stores to the Flight Crew.
- Perform Flight IC duty on Regional Transit and Night Stop flights.
- Perform Flight 2 IC duty on other flights (for EO II – at the discretion deemed suitable by the Senior Supervisors/Supervisors or OE DPT).
- Return unloaded soiled equipment and dry store loading devices to the respective areas upon return to the Flight Kitchen after the servicing of a flight.
- Dispose all garbage from the delivery vehicle to the garbage room.
- Perform refueling of vehicles.
- Perform escort duties in the high lift’s cabin to ensure security and safe delivery of the Catering exchange or uplift.
- To act as a “Trainer” to new EOs who are undergoing OJT (Trainer are Class 5 qualified).
- Undertake any other duties assigned by immediate superior.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
Requirements
- GCE 5 “N” levels or 2 “O” levels
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 License
