Flight In-Charge
Summary
The Flight In Charge is responsible for the roles and responsibilities of Flight IC or Flight 2 IC in servicing of flights to ensure that our customers are being provided the best service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assume the roles and responsibilities of Flight IC or Flight 2 IC in servicing of flights or related tasks as follows:
- Ensure correctness in quantity, quality and specifications of an Airline catered food supply and supplementary stores uplift against the AFSS and latest copy of the Production Order Summary.
- Uplift the Dry Goods/Beverage/Bonded Stores and Flight Equipment as specified in the Airline Galley Plans/AFSS.
- Supervise and assist the Catering Exchange or Catering Uplift at the aircraft site.
- Co-ordinate with Airline Crew/Representatives regarding the Catering Exchange or Uplift and ensuring that:
- Crews are well briefed on the meal uplift and deficiencies are made known.
- Handling documents are endorsed and received.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of last-minute Catering orders received for the flight.
- Record temperature check for meal uplift as per HACCP requirement.
Requirements
- Preferably minimum of GCE “N” levels
- Minimum 2 years’ any working experience preferably from Aviation Industry
- Undertake any other duties assigned by immediate superior
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
