Load Control Supervisor
Summary
The Load Control Supervisor is responsible for performing weight and balance for all aircraft types, including Combi and Freighters, and completing the load sheet within the stipulated ground time with all required information.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile all messages pertaining to flight and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Coordinate with various parties for loads and load build-up
- Perform Load planning in accordance with all safety regulations and/or policies of airlines.
- Check aircraft’s data, weights, and trim limits
- Brief and issue loading instructions to loading supervisors
- Obtain estimate/ final fuel figures from crew/ operations staff
- Check/obtain final Loading Instructions/Report from Loading Supervisor and make amendments to loadsheet when necessary
- Check for any variations before submitting Load sheet to Pilot-in-Command for approval
- Dispatch timely, all required operational messages
- Close/file Flight Report with all necessary documents/telexes
- Upkeep aircrafts’ weight and balance data, forms and manuals
- Assist in control and crew administration duties
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with credits in English & Math
- Must be a certified Load Controller with supervisory experience
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in aircraft weight & balance
